Keep proof without exposing the ticket
Save the order number, seller details, description, applicable terms, receipt, and delivery confirmation. Do not post a usable barcode or QR code publicly. A purchase announcement does not need to reveal the credential used for admission.
Use the authorised checkout and read the payment provider’s dispute information. Avoid treating any payment method as a refund guarantee. Protections depend on the transaction and jurisdiction, and a transfer made outside the intended purchase flow can complicate recovery.
For travel planning, keep refundable and non-refundable costs separate. If ticket delivery is still pending, do not describe the trip as fully confirmed. That small distinction can prevent an unresolved ticket from becoming several larger commitments.
If the purchase looks wrong afterward
Contact the payment provider promptly through its official channel and explain what happened. Keep the original messages and receipts. Report the seller to the platform and use the appropriate local fraud-reporting route.
