The match has finished, but the amount in your account does not match your calculation. Before opening a support chat, identify the precise difference. Was the selection graded as a loss, was only part of the stake returned, or was the price different from the one you remember? Those are separate questions, and each needs different evidence.
A useful complaint shows the accepted ticket, the applicable rule, and the result used to settle it. A screenshot of the final score alone rarely connects all three.
Start with the accepted ticket
Save the ticket number, selection, market name, line, accepted odds, stake, placement time, and displayed settlement. Include the timezone. If the app shows both a requested price and an accepted price, preserve both rather than cropping away the part that seems inconvenient.
Keep your own calculation separate from the original record. In a hypothetical example, a 100-unit stake at decimal odds of 2.40 would return 240 units if the full stake won under an ordinary stake-inclusive settlement. The net gain would be 140 units. Calling both figures “winnings” can create a dispute that is really a vocabulary mismatch.
That arithmetic does not decide whether your particular ticket won. A partial settlement, void, or special market rule may change the calculation. Ask which rule was applied before assuming a software error.
Match the result to the market
“The team won” is insufficient if the ticket covered only the first innings or excluded a tie-breaker. Likewise, a bowler’s wicket total can differ from the team’s wickets because not every dismissal is credited to the bowler. Identify exactly what the ticket measured.
Use the competition’s official result or scorecard when available. Record the link and the time you checked it. If a result was corrected later, preserve that distinction: an earlier screenshot and a later official correction may both be genuine.
For an interrupted match, distinguish the official match status from the operator’s settlement rule. An abandoned fixture does not by itself explain every market outcome. Some questions may concern a completed portion of play; the accepted terms must show how that portion is treated.
Build a small evidence packet
Arrange the files in this order: accepted ticket, settlement screen, relevant rule, official result, and your calculation. Label files plainly. Support should not have to infer which of twelve screenshots contains the disputed selection.
Where possible, preserve the rule that existed when the bet was accepted. A current help page may have changed. If you cannot recover the earlier wording, say so and ask the business to identify the applicable version. Do not present a newly downloaded page as a historical copy.
Keep payment records only where relevant. A settlement issue and a withdrawal delay may require separate case numbers. Sending bank statements for a dispute about a player statistic can expose unnecessary information without helping answer the question.

Write the first message around one request
Here is a fictional example: “Please review ticket ABC123, accepted at 14:05 UTC on 12 September. The ticket shows a 100-unit stake at 2.40, but the settlement screen shows a 100-unit return. I have attached the ticket and result. Please identify the rule used and explain the calculation.”
This leaves room for either an error or a valid explanation. Avoid replacing the question with accusations, threats, or unrelated losses. A concise account also makes it easier to compare the eventual answer with what you actually asked.
Ask for a case reference and the published complaint procedure. Record when the complaint was submitted and any response deadline the business gives. Keep follow-ups in the same case where possible, so the timeline is not fragmented across several channels.
Escalation depends on the operator and jurisdiction
Check the legal entity named in the account terms and verify any claimed regulator through that regulator’s own website. A brand logo or a licence number pasted into a footer is not enough to identify the correct complaint route.
For businesses within its remit, the UK Gambling Commission directs customers to complain to the business first. It does not decide individual gambling transaction complaints. That is a jurisdiction-specific example, not a universal procedure for readers in the Philippines or elsewhere.
If the response remains unclear, ask for a final written explanation and the applicable independent dispute route, if one exists. Use the current official procedure and deadlines for that entity. Do not assume that contacting any regulator guarantees payment or gives it authority over the account.
Questions readers ask
Should I delete the ticket after support acknowledges it?
No. Keep your records until the issue is resolved and you no longer need them for an applicable review process. An acknowledgement confirms receipt, not agreement with your calculation.
What if I only have a screenshot from before acceptance?
Explain that limitation. Request the accepted transaction record rather than treating the preview as proof of the final ticket. Prices and selections can differ between those stages.
Should I place another bet while waiting?
A new transaction will not clarify the old one. Keep the complaint separate from further play, especially if the disagreement is making you feel pressured to recover money.
