The exact time depends on the area that is being treated; However, typically it takes from an hour to an hour-and-a-half. This timeframe includes an additional 30 minutes for topical numbing to be applied prior to treatment.

The IPL is not considered a painful treatment, and the laser is very tolerable. During treatment, you may experience very mild discomfort.
